winter wreath: how to

We’ve had the same brightly colored paper floral wreath outside our door for the past 4 or 5 months. Now that it’s actually cold out, it seemed appropriate to toss the make shift paper arrangement that wore out its welcome. I stopped by Michaels on the way home from work to get supplies.

You will need:

4 different types of twigs and flowers — one needs to have a wire in it to start the initial circle

circle wire or wire you can mold into a circle — I used the white flower (not pictured) to act as both

hot glue gun and glue sticks

scissors

wire cutters

I got a little weary at this stage… It was starting to come together, but it didn’t have as much life as I intended. The berries helped a lot to add depth to the wreath and some color. After much more hot glue and cutting stems apart, it came together nicely!
